Call for Submissions: Issue I
After Midnight Literary Magazine is opening submissions for our inaugural issue!
Submissions will be accepted from August 1, 2026, at 12:01 a.m. ET through August 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
For our first issue, there is no set theme. Send us anything that fits within our submission categories and follows our guidelines.
We are accepting:
Book reviews · Creative nonfiction · Fiction · Flash fiction · Pedagogy · Poetry
We especially encourage submissions from writers belonging to historically underrepresented and marginalized communities. ♥
Before submitting, please review submission guidelines for category requirements, word count and other important details.
Give us your strange, your silly, your fun, your heartbreaking, your thoughtful, and your weird. We want to see it all.
